Celebrating the (hard-earned) wins of an incredibly talented and committed team, welcoming onboard a number of new recruits, and looking back on the fantastic projects that we’ve had the pleasure to work on this year, here’s to 2021 at Yozu…

It’s fair to say that 2021 hasn’t quite been the easy ride we were hoping for (or deserving of) after making it through 2020. And though we don’t think lightly of the losses and sacrifices that so many have had to bear this year, both personally and professionally, we wanted to end 2021 on a positive note.

Celebrating the wins of an incredibly talented and committed team, welcoming onboard a number of new recruits, and looking back on the fantastic projects that we’ve had the pleasure to work on this year, here’s to 2021 at Yozu…

2021: The Year We Undertook a Complete Business Overhaul During a Pandemic…

Starting late-2020, the Yozu 12 Month Transformation was a year-long process of reviewing each and every element of the business, and taking the necessary steps to improve them or, if required, transform them entirely.

What was working? What needed our attention? How did our clients feel? What needed to be prioritised? It was essential that this was a proactive and inclusive process with real, visible change that could be regularly evidenced, documented and actually felt within the business.

From huge upgrades to our client experience to a complete overhaul of the Yozu employee progression framework and review process, we’re beyond proud of what the Yozu 12 Month Transformation achieved.

2021: The Year We Onboarded More New Recruits Than Ever…

It’s been a tough year for all businesses, but we’ve been fortunate enough to work on some incredible projects that have allowed us to grow the Yozu team. From Software Developers to Business Analysts, every new employee has given us their all from Day One – and every existing employee has made them feel part of the Yozu family.

This year, we also welcomed our first Kickstart hire, Caitlin. The Kickstart scheme is a £2 billion government fund to create hundreds of thousands of high quality job placements for young people. Caitlin joined us as a Marketing Trainee and has gone from strength to strength ever since!

2021: The Year We Worked On Some of Our Most Incredible Projects to Date…

From launching two of our own SaaS products, Recrypt and Forage, to working with incredible brands including Yodel, The Accountancy Partnership and BioGrad Diagnostics, it’s been a busy year for Yozu. Check out our showreel below to see exactly what we got up to.
