Here is another of Yozu’s newest team members, Vasco, who we asked 3 questions to learn more about his background and expertise!

How did you get started in Development?

I began my professional career in development through a career shift a couple of decades ago when I was in my 30s. Building upon my previous educational background, I initially started as a PHP developer and have since remained focused on web technologies.

Over the years, I have explored various web technologies, programming languages, and frameworks. I have worked with PHP, C#, Python, JavaScript, and Ruby, but my primary focus has been on Ruby and Ruby on Rails development for the past five years.

How would you describe your day job to someone who isn’t a software engineer?

I utilise complex tools to simplify the lives of others.

What’s one thing that we should know about you?

Secretly, I am a hobbyist musician, although I must admit I am not the most skilled at it!
