Why We’re Giving Our Merch a Makeover

Here at Yozu, we’re all about creating great software, but we also like to look good while we do it. That’s why we’ve decided it’s time for a fresh new take on our company merchandise!

Now, don’t get us wrong—our old merch has served us well. Our last update came with our rebrand in 2022, with those trusty t-shirts, rubik’s cubes and water bottles have seen us through countless hackathons, meetings, and coffee-fuelled coding sessions.

But let’s be real, the world has moved on, and so should our wardrobe. Plus, we think it’s only fair that our team get to rock some gear that matches the creativity and innovation we put into our work.

What’s In The Swag Bag?

At our February All Hands, we gifted our team with a selection of new and updated merch that we could all be proud of.

We’re introduced a fresh new charcoal hoody, a stylish baseball T-shirt, Yozu laptop stickers, branded post-its, and of course, a rubber duck to keep you company while coding.

…and why the rubber duck, you ask? Well, we’re firm believers in the power of ‘rubber duck debugging‘—a technique where explaining your code out loud (even to an inanimate object) helps you find solutions. It’s a simple but effective way to tackle tricky bugs, and now, every Yozu coder can have their own trusty duck by their side!

And hey, let’s be honest—swag should be more than just something you stuff in a drawer. We’re making sure our new merch is the kind of thing you’ll actually want to wear and use.

So if you’re out and about on the streets of Liverpool – or at a tech industry event – you might spot one of our team wearing our latest gear!
