It’s important to love what you do, especially when you spend so much time at work. That’s why working at Yozu is not just a job but an opportunity to grow, learn, share, laugh, and make a difference. We are proud to have a diverse international team with colleagues from countries such as Spain, Italy, Poland, France, and more. We have asked some of them how they feel working at Yozu, and these are their answers!

How has working with your friends at Yozu from the UK and abroad helped you to settle in?

The friends I’ve made at Yozu have been amazing in helping me settle into work here. Getting to know co-workers from different backgrounds and countries has really broadened my perspectives. The kindness and support I received when I started my parent life was absolutely great. I’m very grateful for the community we’ve formed at Yozu.

What are the benefits of being part of a multicultural team?

I’ve learned so much from my colleagues about their diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and approaches to work. It’s been eye-opening and challenged me to think outside my cultural box.

What do you miss most about your country of origin?

Being here in London makes me miss Romania’s fresh air and wide open spaces. As much as I love the energy of this international city, I find myself longing for lazy summer days back home, breathing in the crisp mountain air and taking long walks through the countryside. The slower pace of life, the familiar faces of childhood friends, and the unpaved streets I’ve known my whole life are the things that pull at my heartstrings when I think of home. I’m so grateful for this opportunity to live abroad, but a part of me will always cherish the serenity I left behind in Romania.
