Founded in 2013, Yozu is a rapidly expanding team of over 40 software developers and UI/UX designers that help SMEs and larger blue-chip corporations around the UK and abroad to leverage technology better within their business. We work closely with our clients to deliver products and platforms that help to transform their business, and have fun developing innovative solutions to complex problems.

WE REQUIRE

  • To lead all marketing projects within the business
  • To evaluate the current marketing needs of the business and produce a strategic plan identifying a business case for a roadmap that will achieve the marketing goals
  • To run an initial marketing testing phase to establish (via data-driven decisions) an appropriate marketing mix and desirable marketing budget
  • To build strategies for SEO, PPC, social media, email et al – including some client PPC account management
  • To subsequently design and hire a marketing team that will support the execution of the plan and create a robust unit that will cover all activities, with capacity to experiment on new projects and marketing channels
  • Day to day management and motivation of the marketing team and its performance
  • To generate (on a continuous basis) high quality, marketing qualified leads to feed the sales pipeline and evidence ROI
  • To communicate and coordinate effectively with roles responsible for sales, including providing content for sales collateral
  • To understand the company goals and link them appropriately to the marketing plan
  • To evaluate marketing opportunities and become a domain expert in order to best market the company to those industries
  • To improve the company’s network and better utilise connections to improve our marketing reach and create opportunities
  • To create effective ways of working within a team environment and utilising the best tech stack to deliver the work
  • To research, plan, review and report on all marketing activity in order to be agile and achieve the best results possible
  • To use analytics and data insights to monitor (and react to) live marketing performance and report to team level (and to the Board) on a regular basis
  • To establish the company brand as a nationally-recognised service provider
  • To harness the support of the wider team in representing the company, collaborating on marketing projects and advocating for the business
  • To support the internal marketing channels within the business in order to maintain a high level of team engagement with our culture

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of driving growth in a B2B environment via lead generation and relationship development
  • Excellent project management and time management
  • Attention to detail in all verbal and written communications
  • Strong presentation skills and able to demonstrate creative flair in work produced
  • Able to evidence creating a strategic marketing plan, executed efficiently and utilising data insights to inform on its success
  • Has a network of business contacts across various areas relevant to helping the company achieve its marketing goals
  • Has practical experience of multi-channel marketing for both services and product
  • Line management experience and can demonstrate leadership skills
  • Should hold a degree in Marketing or relevant CIM qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a lead marketing role (digital and generalist) – preferably relevant to service or agency marketing
  • Is experienced in administering and using digital marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Google Ads, Google Analytics, ahrefs, Mailchimp, WordPress et al
