Who Are We?

Founded in 2013, Yozu is a rapidly expanding team of designers, developers and engineers that help SMEs and larger blue-chip corporations around the UK and abroad to better leverage technology within their business. We work closely with our clients to deliver solutions that help to transform their business, and take pride (and have fun!) coding solutions to interesting problems.

We take a mature approach to agile software development; we automate where possible, we’re agile where and when it matters, we work collaboratively with our clients, and we ship often and early.

The role is based in a vibrant area of Liverpool City Centre, in a relaxed and enjoyable work setting. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment and have input into all aspects of production.

 

We Require

Enthusiastic and gifted individuals with a proven interest and ability in technology to join our growing team of engineers and designers. The successful candidate will be helping us support our growing infrastructure, along with our products and platforms.

You will be perfect for this role if you are keen to interact with people and assist them with any issues faced, working alongside a supportive team to manage and grow our infrastructure, both internal and external.

You should have real-world experience of systems and network management, either in a professional, academic, or personal capacity. Experience of any development language is also highly desirable.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An enthusiastic and motivated personality
  • Experience of managing systems, networks and cloud infrastructure – even if only for personal projects
  • Natural ability with computers and technology in general
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and diagnose in a sensible and methodical manner

 

Desirable

  • At least a 2:1 undergraduate degree in a related field or further qualifications
  • Industry experience of supporting large-scale software and services
  • Technical experience of:
    • Microsoft-backed network infrastructure (Active Directory, Exchange, Storage Services, etc)
    • Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or AWS
    • Linux and Microsoft Windows system administration
    • Network services (VoIP, DNS, DHCP, etc)
